Can we provide info on the photos?
It would be good to be able to add info about some of the photos!

Are you planning a mapping interface for this site? I think the site really should have a mapping interface!

Too much text on home page
Public should be able to arrive and see at a glance what to do next. They shouldn't have to wade through lots of text.

Supplying contact details for the Groups mentioned
Whilst details of where they meet is shown for some of the Groups, contact names, contact numbers are conspicuous by their absence, as are (in other instances) where the Groups' meet, when (day and time) etc.
Inclusion of such information would be very useful, so hopefully this can be added to t... moreStatus: startedGroup contact details is something we are currently working on adding, but as most groups are run by volunteers we have to find a balance between releasing their private contact details, and providing a way to contact the group.
Hopefully we have come up with something that will work, I will update when it goes live soon this month. -

Poor spelling on some photo captions - otherwise great!

Status: under reviewThanks for the great feedback and we would be interested in others feelings on this matter.
As each photo is added by the group members themselves who are all volunteers, should we edit their spelling and grammar to make the site tidy, or should we leave it as "your history in your words" regardless of whether the spelling is correct or not?
The site is a socially interactive site and we have to find a fine balance between moderation and big brother. It would be good to get others thoughts and feedback on this matter and how people feel.
